Nespresso Lattissima Coffee Maker Review
The Lattissima is a Nespresso machine that takes brewing one-touch to the next level. It can make espressos and lungo coffee in a minutes or less, and it accepts the company's wide selection of capsules.
The machine can also be programmed to create the exact amount of drinks you require. This is a great feature for busy households.
Easy to use
This basic, black Nespresso machine is simple to use and maintain. It is minimalist in its simple design and only one top-facing button that controls powering, rinsing making coffee and more. Remove the lid, place a capsule in and click to begin making coffee. It quickly heats up and provides a range of drinks including double espresso, or five, 8- or 18-ounce coffees. It comes with a steaming tool that can create a textured, cafe-like appearance to your drinks. We love the small design and simple interface, but we found that this machine wasn't as strong a cup of espresso or coffee as some of the more expensive models. It's also not as easy to recycle capsules as other machines we tried. This is why Nespresso isn't a top pick for our side-byside test.

Quick to Brew
The Nespresso machine can brew an espresso cup within 15 seconds. The heated water from the reservoir is introduced through a pump and pierces small holes at the top of the coffee pod. The water is then mixed with the ground coffee, and drips into the cup. The machine produced an intense, delicious espresso with just a hint of bite when we tested it with Jones Brothers and Bestpresso coffee capsules. We also tested whole, 2% and almond milk and found that all performed well.
Easy to clean
Cleaning a Nespresso machine is crucial, both inside and outside. This ensures that it's running smoothly and ensures it's safe to use. This also improves the taste of your coffee. You can clean a Nespresso using a variety of cleaners, including vinegar. delonghi nespresso coffee machine is best to use a descaling agent instead of vinegar as it can cause damage to the machine.
To clean your Nespresso machine, begin by taking out all the pods and washing the drip tray and capsule container. Then, fill a sink or large bowl with warm water and add a few squirts of dish soap. Let the drip tray and capsule container soak in the soapy water for several minutes to break up gunk and stains. Rinse the drip tray and capsule container using hot water. Then, use a nonabrasive cloth or sponge to remove any stains or residues. After you scrub the drip tray and capsule containers then rinse them once more and allow them to dry completely before returning them to your machine.
After your machine has been cleaned, it is time to descale. Follow the instructions in your manual for a specific process. In other cases, you can make an DIY descaling solution by using white vinegar or citric acid. However, if you're using vinegar, be sure to use white vinegar rather than balsamic or apple vinegar, as these are too aggressive for this purpose.
